Good morning flisties!
Dec. 25th, 2009 08:11 amFor those who celebrate it, HAPPY CHRIMBLE!!!
For those who don't, HAPPY MID-DECEMBER CELEBRATION OF YOUR CHOICE!!!
For all my Northern Hemisphere friends, I hope the snow doesn't impede your plans, and that you manage to stay safe and warm.
For all my Southern Hemisphere friends, I hope you manage to stay cool while drinking white wine in the sun.
And I hope family and socialising doesn't drive any of you crazy.
I don't comment as much as I should, I am often busy or lazy, but I hold my flisties dear. To think I've known some of you for nearly ten years now, and yet never met you! And new friends, I hope to know you better soon too. Fandom brings such joy, it's worth the pain and the crazy.
Even if I don't comment, I love to read about your lives, some of which are so different to mine; it keeps me grounded and honest, not to mention letting me live vicariously through others :) I am very, very glad to know you, and to know that you are out there, scattered around the globe, connected to each other and me by the invisible web and our shared humanity.
We're having a quiet Chrimble with Ben, and then Doctor Who Day on Boxing Day, and family stuff on Sunday.
Love to you all.
