Finished a couple of pairs of socks, both in rather different colourways from the ones I normally choose.

The pattern is Charybdis, because I am a sucker for evocative mythology-related pattern names. The yarn is Adorn Sock by Three Irish Girls in a colourway called 'Eilis'. It has a lot of golden brown in it, and browns are not my usual colour, but something in the combination just called to me and I really like these knitted up.

Good old plain socks, made from the now-discontinued Fleece Artist Nyoni sock yarn in 'Spring Crocus'. Again, yellow is not my usual thing, but I really liked this combination and I think the finished socks are lovely. The yarn, which was very cheap, is a lovely mixture of wool, mohair and silk; I'm wearing a pair from the same yarn now actually, in a colourway called 'Merlin' :D
