This morning I woke up, leapt out of bed as usual, switched on my computer, went to the kitchen to feed Oliver, grabbed my towel, opened the back door to let Oliver out -
- and noticed it was still dark outside.
I checked the time. It was 4.43 AM. Rohan was snoring; he must have snored loudly enough that I woke up and thought the radio alarm had gone off, one hour and twenty minutes earlier than I normally wake. The alarm is on his side; normally he switches it off when it goes off. I can't see the numbers on the clock without my contact lenses.
Then of course I couldn't get back to sleep.
